Chair of the Board of Vaka Tautua, Tunumafono Fa'amoetauloa Ava Fa'amoe, thanked Anauli for his service and dedication to Vaka Tautua, and the Pacific families and communities we serve. Chief Executive Officer, Dr Amanda-Lanuola Dunlop, thanked him for his positivity, uplifting spirit and "can do" attitude. Fellow staff member, Muliagatele Paul Lavea, shared how many staff, especially the men, looked up to Anauli as a mentor, and would miss his guidance and advice, and role modelling on how to be "good men."

Anauli said he thought this day (him leaving Vaka Tautua) - would never come, but it was time.

"When you receive the call (to serve God), you just go... you don't ask questions," said Anauli.

Anauli will be serving his church in Glenn Innes, looking after its finances and working with youth.

Vaka Tautua would like to wish Anauli all the best for future.
